Do you live, work, or just love to visit Portland City Council District 1? Then don’t miss this special opportunity to meet your newly elected City Councilors Candace Avalos, Jamie Dunphy, and Loretta Smith.
City Club of Portland will host this free program, which will begin with a one-hour conversation and Q&A moderated by Willamette Week’s City Hall and neighborhoods reporter, Sophie Peel, incorporating questions submitted by community members during registration. Councilors will share their visions for District 4 and Portland as a whole, discussing what makes the district unique, hidden gems worth exploring, and citywide topics like downtown revitalization, partnerships with Multnomah County, and Portland’s future.
After the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to socialize informally with neighbors and Councilors.
This program is free with registration. Each attendee is asked to register individually to ensure they receive event updates and help City Club maintain an accurate head count. Donations and City Club membership are encouraged to support future programs like this one.
