‘Tis the season for giving, and the fundraiser by Guerreras Latinas is an opportunity to do so hyper-locally.
Guerreras Latinas had been a Centennial neighbor for about a year. Led by the amazing Yoana Molina Marcial, the organization has been providing education and camaraderie for Latinas in the neighborhood and beyond.
This year, the organization put on an immensely successful harvest festival and bulky waste collection events in June and December.
Just in the last month, the need for their services has increased dramatically, as community members have begun to anticipate the impacts on their families of recent decisions at the national level. They are looking for extra financial support for their mission; as a community, let’s provide it!!
